Hedwig Bollhagen started production of the teapot with the shape number "575" in the early 1950s. With its low, cylindrical body, the very first teapot from HB is more reminiscent of a kettle. With its dimensions (11.5 centimeters wide, 10.5 centimeters high) and a capacity of only half a liter, this teapot is one of Hedwig Bollhagen's smaller ones. And with just 380 grams on the scales, it could also be described as a lightweight. The pen-shaped handle on the straight, round lid is characteristic. The handle on the side and the straight spout on the opposite side skilfully round off the simple design.
