The HB-Purum collection focuses consistently on the pure form. The unaltered raw material is only glazed transparent, so that it retains its own natural, soft, warm, ceramic hue. Inclusions and traces of the hand-turned porcelain are deliberately preserved here and give each individual piece its own note. Thus, the HB-Purum series fulfills in a special way the desire of the potter in Hedwig Bollhagen to give priority to form over decoration. The characteristic color of the pure fired body of HB called "Sand" allows a complementary combination with the collections HB Ritz and Varius.
